Who I am

Senior .NET Developer and Tech Lead at Poste Italiane S.p.A., based in Milan, where I'm responsible for the technical evolution of the DSP — Digital Safety Platform, a critical enterprise system for workplace safety, privacy and infrastructure management.

My approach is analytical and structured: I study the domain, identify the constraints, design incrementally, and validate continuously. I work to reduce system complexity through modern standards, clean patterns and automation. In enterprise environments, incremental modernization beats rewrites almost every time.

My current stack revolves around C# / ASP.NET Core MVC, T-SQL / SQL Server, and Bootstrap. On the infrastructure side I deal with load-balanced architectures, HAProxy, SSO, and CI/CD automation.

I'm PSM I and ISIPM-Base certified, and a qualified internal auditor for UNI EN ISO 45001:2023.

Founder and organizer of Freedom Bytes, an annual conference held in the Pavia area focused on free software, privacy, digital rights and conscious use of technology.

.NET on GNU/Linux

I build enterprise .NET applications that run on both Windows and Linux. From ASP.NET Core backends to full-stack solutions, I leverage the cross-platform nature of .NET to ship software that works everywhere the runtime runs. This blog covers practical .NET development, container deployments, build pipelines, and real-world patterns for the modern .NET ecosystem.

Mageia Linux

Long-time contributor to the Mageia distribution and package maintainer for several packages. Involved in testing, bug triaging, and release coordination.

Python-Manatools

Active contributor to python-manatools, the Python/GTK system administration toolkit for Mageia/Cauldron. Currently working on a web backend that allows running applications like dnfdragora and manafirewall directly in the browser — pure Python with HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap and DataTables, minimal footprint and no external dependencies.

Photography

Amateur photographer with a particular interest in landscape and street photography. Occasional posts in the General section.
